Exciting first Step on the Journey
After months of intense planning, designing, and rebranding, we are excited to announce that CreekStreet Studio is officially live! We want to thank you for your support and feedback throughout this process. We couldn't have done it without you!
Behind the Scenes
There was much more involved in this transformation than we originally expected, but we were determined to approach the process systematically with a plan and timelines. We are happy to say that we followed the plan and met our timelines! As a result, CreekStreet Studio is in a better place now than BriteSpotz was after two years!
We do not regret anything we did with BriteSpotz and are grateful for what we learned during those years. The BriteSpotz experience, plus the classes we have taken, made it so we knew exactly how to approach starting CreekStreet Studio.
What have we learned in a nutshell?
Don't try to do everything at once!
Don't follow and try every "new & shiny" thing you learn about.
Use the tools you have and know.
Establish relationships with like-minded people, get feedback from your community, and listen to what they say.
This image was created in Firefly using a photo of my house for reference. We wanted to evoke the feeling of a studio in a natural setting using colors that coordinated with our brand colors. What do you think? Should we keep this image as part of my brand imagery?
First CreekStreet Studio Pattern Collection!
You are the first to know about, and get a sneak peek of, my first pattern collection! This is a very exciting accomplishment and one that BriteSpotz never achieved. It is in celebration of our launch, and it uses the CreekStreet Studio Brand colors.
Coming soon, this collection will be for sale on fabric, wallpaper and home decor at Spoonflower. There will also cards, notebooks, and other stationery items available on Etsy.
Presenting the "Creekside Garden Collection
This collection was inspired by the beautiful places we have explored over the years. The clearest feeling and picture in our minds when creating this collection was of a girl scout camp in Ohio called "Crooked Lane" where we spent many wonderful days camping and exploring as a family and with friends. There was a small wild pond full of life and a lovely creek that meandered through the woods. We tried to capture a bit of the natural beauty, fun, and feelings from those days. Maybe we should name it the Crooked Lane Collection instead. Let us know what you think!
