Exciting first Step on the Journey
After months of intense planning, designing, and rebranding, I am excited to announce that CreekStreet Studio is officially live! I want to thank you for your support and feedback throughout this process. I couldn't have done it without you!
Behind the Scenes
There was much more involved in this transformation than I originally expected but I was determined to approach the process systematically with a plan and timelines. I'm happy to say I followed the plan and met my timelines! As a result, CreekStreet Studio is in a better place now than BriteSpotz was after two years!
I do not regret anything I did with BriteSpotz and am grateful for what I learned during those years. I'll write another article about that soon. The BriteSpotz experience, plus the classes I have taken, made it so I knew exactly how to approach starting CreekStreet Studio.
What have I learned in a nutshell?
Don't try to do everything at once!
Don't follow and try every "new & shiny" thing you learn about.
Use the tools you have and know.
Establish relationships with like-minded people, get feedback from your community and listen to what they say.
This image was created in Firefly using a photo of my house for reference. I wanted to evoke the feeling of a studio in a natural setting using colors that coordinated with my brand colors. What do you think? Should I keep this image as part of my brand imagery?
First CreekStreet Studio Pattern Collection!
You are the first to know and get a sneak peak at my first pattern collection! This is a very exciting accomplishment and one that BriteSpotz never achieved. It is in celebration of our launch and it uses the CreekStreet Studio Brand colors.
Coming soon, this collection will be for sale on fabric, wallpaper and home decor at Spoonflower. There will also cards, notebooks and other stationery items available on Etsy.
Presenting the "Creekside Garden Collection
This collection was inspired by the beautiful places we have explored over the years. The clearest feeling and picture in my mind when creating this collection was of a girl scout camp in Ohio called "Crooked Lane" where we spent many wonderful days camping and exploring as a family and with friends. There was a small wild pond full of life and a lovely creek that meandered through the woods. I tried to capture a bit of the natural beauty, fun and feelings from those days. Maybe I should name it the Crooked Lane Collection instead? Let me know what you think!

Thank you!
As a thank you for your support and being the first to sign up for my email list, I am sending you two free pages of gift tags created using the motifs and patterns from the first CreekStreet Studio Collection. These gift tags are rich in color so will print best on photo quality cardstock. I will also create a version with a white background and will let you know when they are ready.
I am so excited to continue this journey and share more designs with you in the future. Stay tuned for upcoming collections, design tips, and exclusive offers by following CreekStreet Studio.
Thank you for being here at the beginning of CreekStreet Studio. Your support means the world to me.
Many thanks!
Susan
